Global Village Event 2025

Global Village 2025 brought together Tzu Chi University’s diverse student community for a lively celebration of culture, creativity, and connection. Held by the Office of Global Affairs on October 22 at the Jieren Campus, the event featured interactive country booths, traditional performances, and a vibrant marketplace atmosphere. Students from Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, the Philippines, and other groups shared their heritage through food, art, music, and games, creating a warm and welcoming space for cross-cultural exchange. The energetic participation of students, volunteers, and performers made the event a memorable showcase of unity in diversity—strengthening cultural bonds across campus and highlighting the value of learning from one another.

Tzu Chi University’s 31st Anniversary: Vibrant Intergenerational Celebration

Tzu Chi University celebrated its 31st anniversary with a vibrant, intergenerational sports day at the Jieren Campus, themed “Cultivating Talent with Humanity, Creating the Future with Shared Wisdom.” Despite chilly weather, faculty, students, alumni, and community partners filled the campus with enthusiasm—from spirited athletic competitions to a lively fair featuring student creations and local Hualien vendors. The celebration highlighted TCU’s unity, sportsmanship, and commitment to social responsibility, while honoring outstanding faculty and students for excellence in teaching, research, and service. The event showcased the university’s strong community bonds and its dedication to fostering wisdom, compassion, and a brighter future.
